Quality Assurance and Quality Control

The Fall Line staff is comprised of certified technicians capable of oversight and documentation of a project's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements. We are accustomed to complex projects with multiple QA/QC provisions that often require specialized testing and inspection services. Our hands-on experience and acute attention to detail enables us to provide the timely, reliable test data required by the most demanding civil projects in today's industry. Particular QA/QC services include:

Aggregate Quality Control - Fall Line participates in all stages of aggregate quality control from initial plant set up through production quality control. We perform routine and specialized tests to determine the aggregates' characteristics in conformance with project specifications. In addition we have a mobile Testing Laboratory that can be relocated to aggregate production sites to perform immediate testing and inspection services.
Compressive Strength Testing - This test method consists of applying a compressive axial load to a molded concrete or RCC cylinder or core until failure occurs. The results are used as a basis for quality control of a project's proportioning, mixing, and placing operations.
